The bar
Run by Jacqui and Neil, McGowan's is a family-run local on the Wild Atlantic Way. Tucked along the shores of Lough Foyle, it's the place to drop in for a well-poured pint, a quiet corner playing board games, or a bit of chat after a day exploring the Inishowen Peninsula.
We stick to what a good pub does best: great beer, sound people and live music on the weekends. Both cash and card accepted.
The space
Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or staying for the evening, we have plenty of space to pull up a seat.
Out back, our new Barn gives you a cosy, covered space that keeps you warm no matter what the Donegal weather is doing outside. When the sun comes out, head onto the outdoor terrace to make the most of it. And if you want a classic pub feel, step inside the front bar, grab a stool, and enjoy a space full of character and craic.
